Terms & Conditions 

  • Service Overview​

    • Driftwood Provisions provides personal grocery shopping, provisioning, and delivery services.​

    • Driftwood Provisions purchases items on our client’s behalf and serves as a personal shopping agent.

    • Availability depends on store stock and seasonal supply.

    • Substitutions may occur (see Substitution Policy).

    • Driftwood Provisions reserves the right to decline requests outside the scope of services provided.

  • Ordering & Scheduling 

    • Delivery windows are estimates, not guaranteed times.​

    • Clients must ensure access to property (codes, concierge, etc.)

    • Missed or delayed deliveries due to incorrect access information are not refundable and may incur additional service charges.

  • Substitutions & OOS Items

    • Best-match substitutions may be made without prior approval​

    • Brand, size, or packaging may vary.

    • Speciality or premium items may be substituted with equal or higher quality when possible.

    • *Guests may have the ability to opt out of substitutions (intake form) with the understanding that this may reduce order fulfillment.*

  • Alcohol Delivery Terms

    • Alcoholic beverages are available only where permitted by Florida Law and retailer policies.

    • The purchaser and recipient must be 21 years of age or older and must present a valid government-issued ID.​

    • A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is requires and will be verified at the time alcoholic beverages are delivered.

    • Alcoholic beverages are delivered separately after guest arrival and will not be stocked inside the property prior to check-in.

    • Alcoholic beverages will not be left unattended or delivered without successful age verification.

    • All alcohol purchases are client funded and charged at retail cost. 

    • Alcohol availability is subject to retailer inventory and applicable laws.

    • If alcoholic beverages cannot be legally delivered because a qualified recipient is unavailable or valid identification cannot be provided, the alcohol portion of the order may be canceled or rescheduled.  Applicable retailer policies regarding returns or refunds will apply.

    • Driftwood Provisions reserves the right to refuse or cancel the alcohol portion of any order if required to comply with Florida law or if delivery cannot be completed safely or legally delivery.

  • Payment Authorization

    • Orders requiring an authorization hold will be processed securely through Stripe.

    • The authorization amount is an estimate that includes groceries, requested services, weighted items, substitutions, and a reasonable contingency. 

    • Only the final amount due will be captured after shopping, delivery, and staging are complete.

    • Any unused portion of the authorization will be released by the customer’s card issuer according to the issuer’s processing timeline.

  • Property Access & Liability

    • Client is responsible for providing correct access instructions to property.​

    • Driftwood Provisions is not liable for spoilage after delivery.​

    • ​Driftwood Provisions is not responsible for issues due to power outages, fridge malfunction, pests, weather exposure, etc.

  • Food Safety Disclaimer

    • Driftwood Provisions handles all items with care and delivers promptly.​

    • Driftwood Provisions will deliver and stock all items accordingly (dry or refrigerated). 

    • Once delivered, staged, and confirmed, responsibility transfers to the client.

    • Clients of Driftwood Provisions understand their order preferences and shall correctly maintain dry or cold storage of items.

  • Limitation of Liability

    • ​​Driftwood Provisions is not responsible for indirect damages.

    • Liability is limited to the service fee paid.

  • Changes to Terms

    • Terms may be updated at any time and apply upon posting.​​
