Payment & Refund Policy

Payment Terms

• Before shopping begins, Driftwood Provisions provides an estimated order total and sends a secure Stripe link to authorize that amount.

• The authorization is based on estimated non-alcohol retail purchases and applicable delivery, staging, and provisioning fees.

• After shopping and stocking are complete, the order is reconciled using actual non-alcohol retail purchases, substitutions, weight-based items, approved additions, and applicable service fees.

• The final amount due is then captured, and receipts and completion details are provided.

• If alcoholic beverages are requested, Driftwood Provisions will coordinate that portion of the request through Publix Liquors or Total Wine & More.  The client completes and pays for the alcohol purchase separately and directly with the selected retailer.  No alcohol transaction, alcohol purchase price, or reimbursement for alcoholic beverages is included in the Driftwood Provisions Stripe authorization or final capture.

Non-Refundable Charges

• Once shopping has begun, service fees associated with work already performed are non-refundable.

• Retail purchases already made by Driftwood Provisions are subject to the return and refund policies of the retailer and may not be refundable.

• If delivery or stocking cannot be completed because required property access is unavailable, fees and costs already incurred remain due.

• Alcohol purchases completed and paid for directly by the client are subject to the cancellation and refund policies of the selected retailer.  The alcohol purchase itself is not charged or refunded through Driftwood Provisions.

Retail Purchases

• Groceries, non-alcoholic beverages, vacation essentials, and other non-alcoholic provisions are purchased at retail cost on the client’s behalf.  Estimated totals are reconciled after shopping using actual purchase amounts.

• If an item is not delivered, is incorrect, or there is another issue with a retail purchase, please contact us as soon as possible so we can review the order and determine the appropriate resolution.

• Any refund or adjustment related to a retail item may depend on the retailer’s return or refund policy and the circumstances of the request.

Alcohol Requests

• Alcoholic beverages may still be included as part of a Driftwood Provisions request.  Driftwood will review the requested items and coordinate that portion of the order through Publix Liquors or Total Wine & More, selecting the retailer and location best suited to the vacation guest’s stay, scheduled provisioning time, and product availability.

• The client completes and pays for the alcohol purchase separately and directly with the selected retailer using their own payment method.  Driftwood Provisions does not purchase, resell, or collect reimbursement for alcoholic beverages.

• Where permitted by the selected retailer, the client may authorize Driftwood Provisions to act as their designated pickup representative for their prepaid alcohol order.  Any retailer-specific pickup authorization and identification requirements must also be completed.

• Alcohol may only be released to a guest age 21 or older who presents a valid, unexpired government-issued ID.  Alcohol cannot be left unattended at the rental.

• If an eligible guest is not available to receive the alcohol portion of the order, pickup or handoff may need to be adjusted or rescheduled.

Cancellations

• If you need to cancel an order, please contact Driftwood Provisions as soon as possible.

• Cancellations received before shopping begins may be eligible for cancellation without service charges, provided no non-refundable costs have already been incurred.

• Once shopping has begun, service fees for work already performed and retail purchases already made by Driftwood Provisions on the client’s behalf may remain due.

• If an order cannot be completed because property access, guest availability, or required identification is unavailable, any Driftwood Provisions costs and services already incurred remain subject to the terms above.
